Monarch Day/Honey Bee Day
2003-10-14 @ 11:21 p.m.

I'm too sleepy to continue with my Elementary Mathematics papers. The late nights, or early mornings depending on how you look at it, are finally taking their toll. It's crazy the way he dumps them on us out of the blue, and expects us to finish all of them. Never mind, I'll get through it somehow, God willing. I'm still feeling grumpy because I didn't get to buy my coffee today, and it's all Jun Kai and Yi Hua's fault, since they walked off in the direction opposite to Junction 8. On a more amusing note, Benjamin's letter to Today did get published, albeit in an edited form with a sensationalised heading. We're all waiting with bated breath to see what action, punitive or otherwise, will be taken against our vertically-challenged champion of student rights. The best part was during French, when Mme Faussat hinted that she'd read his diary entry about her, although I don't think she knew for certain that he was the one who wrote it, at least not until we started throwing amused looks in his general direction. We aren't too sure how she found his diary in the first place. Is it a very common thing for people to search for their names on Google? I've tried it, but nothing really exciting turned up, meaning that all the hits returned were expected ones. All I can say is I really take my hat off to Benjamin! Still, maybe he should have waited until after graduation before mailing the letter...
