Today was spend listening to some talks organised by the Career Guidance Club. I've decided that if I can't study both Chemistry and Literature at the 'A' Levels, I'd rather try applying for the Humanities Scholarship. Most of the Science courses require you to take Physics, which I don't want to touch ever again after the 'O' Levels! Besides, Humanities sounds like fun! I skipped the HCJC talk though, as I've no intention of applying to HCJC whatsoever. The school culture just doesn't suit me, I guess. Based on what Xunqi wrote in his blog, I don't think I really missed much. If you ask me, you only need to hard-sell a product when the product isn't good. A good product speaks for itself. Anyway, I'm still crossing my fingers and hoping to get my six points, or at the most eight points. Not worrying about it though, it's a bit too late for that! I think I won't attend any of the talks tomorrow, since the only one I would have gone for was the VJC one, and I already heard their sales pitch at MOELC last month for the Language Elective Programme. Incidentally, I did buy another Jars Of Clay CD, Much Afraid, but now I'm broke. I didn't think it'd cost that much even after the discount. Poor me! Maybe I can con my dad into buying me the rest of their CDs? I still need to buy CD-Rs to burn my fresh batch of MP3s. Maybe I shouldn't have followed them to Pastamania today? It's quite surprising, we actually managed to get Shaun to eat there! In other news, I've finally set up my diary review site! It's called Gifted Review, and the link's at the top. So go get reviewed, and introduce us to all your friends! I'm also looking for more people to join Gifted Review as regular reviewers. If you want to volunteer your services, just leave a note in my guestbook. Thanks! This week: Angel Week |
