Today got off to a terrible start. Mrs Smith took it, until she pricked with herself for our annihilation. She blew up because we were 15 minutes late. Granted, she had a right to be upset, but I think she was overreacting a little. Anyway, we did get allowed back into class, after spending a couple of minutes milling around outside the lecture theatre trying to decide who to sacrifice to her wrath and send in to beg her pardon. She's quite nice though, once lessons are over, although most people probably wouldn't agree. She didn't check our mindmaps, in case anyone out there's wondering, she didn't exactly have the time, which was a good thing I suppose. I live to slog another day! Congratulate me! Why doesn't life have a button that fast-forward button? Then I'd fast-forward to next year, and maybe even beyond that... Damn, Zheng Yang called to remind me to tell him what song I wanted to sing. I totally forgot about it, and that includes what I'm singing for! So if you happen to read this Zheng Yang, remind me! Anyway, I'm singing No Frontiers, because I've realised that everything else I had in mind sounds weird when sung a cappella, to me at least. Just goes to show how much synthesisers are involved in making music sound good these days. Plus the fact that I think it's a nice song, and it's related to Social Studies, I'd say this is a good choice. I want to buy more CDs! On a grimmer note, Singapore confirmed its first new SARS case today. If there's a new outbreak, maybe they'll cancel school! Maybe I shouldn't be so evil... |
