Today's Biology practical deserves mention for being the most screwed up practical, and the most screwed up paper so far. I have never seen a practical where the results were so inconclusive, and nobody can agree on what the right answer is. The good news for all you people is that both answers are being accepted, apparently the results were all screwed up. The onion is a modified shoot system, by the way, not a stem. I've finally decided which theme I'm ignoring for Social Studies. I picked Growth of Nations, the theme which is the most factual and requires the most studying. I hate studying for Social Studies, it's all just a load of government propaganda anyway, despite what Ms Tang says! Anyway, I tried unsuccessfully to study while we were locked in LT1. Blame it on the distractions and noise level in general, such a meaningless waste of time. By the way, I went for another high tea today! Didn't eat much though, spent around two hours there. The chicken wings were nice, very delectable. I couldn't resist the chocolate cake and tiramisu! I do love chocolate. Come to think of it, most of the food I was eating wasn't really substantial, just a lot of finger food. Banana pratas taste, interesting, oily but sweet. I didn't have time to try the cheescake, but it looked really tempting. I think I'll die of heart disease when I'm 50, at the rate I'm consuming sugar now. Calories can kill, that's alliteration for you! I wonder when I'll get to eat chocolate again? There's hardly any left in my refrigerator, which is really my fault anyway. Oh dear, I need to go buy some. Craving smooth rich chocolate... |
