Kiss And Make Up Day
2003-08-25 @ 10:04 p.m.

Currently listening to this French has-been group, 2 Be 3. They were a hit in France, but their attempt to cross over to English pop was a failure despite their songs sounding pretty much like your usual pop fare, and they've since split up. I like their French songs more though, not because they mean anything much as the lyrics are quite dumb, but French words just sound very nice! Anyway, I've started studying more seriously for my Higher Chinese, will start on my Literature as soon as Teck Tee tells me all the themes for our short stories. I managed to complete my quota for the Physics TYS questions, but I'm running out of questions that don't require me to photocopy the diagrams! I've been dying to sit down and write a few nice lovely poems about death and other dark stuff. Kind of oxymoronic, but blame it on the Euphoric EP by Delerium. It's really nice, I've realised that after listening to it a couple of times over the past few days. It's totally different from anything I've ever listened to, I guess that's why I like it so much right now. As I was saying, I've been meaning to write some poetry. I think there'll be one on vampires or at least hinting at vampirism, one three-part poem which may be extended into a trilogy on creation, destruction and reconstruction, and maybe I'll do one more on something light and happy, just for variety's sake. We'll see how my revision goes in the next few days, that'll probably determine the mood of the poetry...
