Lemonade Day/Janmashtami
2003-08-20 @ 11:58 p.m.

Today our class had this farewell party for Ken, who in case you're wondering, is leaving us for New Jersey. Congratulations on escaping the madness of our education system! Anyway, we ordered pizza, which was all gone in 20 minutes. Quite frightening actually, the way we eat. You'd think we'd been starving for days. Not that I wasn't guilty of it! I ate five pieces of pizza and four sticks of bread, if my memory serves me correctly. All of a sudden, I felt motivated to study Literature today, to read and annotate my text for the first time. Then I realised I had a practice paper to complete, and I've just noticed that there's Physics tomorrow, which means I have to do another two questions from the ten-year series again. My life is so pathetic right now. On the bright side, I'm now reading the second book of the Vampire Chronicles. Very nice, although Lestat does remind one of Yi-Xun at times, and not in a complimentary way. Yi-Xun thinks Lestat is "a cool guy", in his own words, so go figure...

At this juncture, I'd like to categorically state that I'm not into techno. To clarify, I like techno beats mixed into other genres of music. Techno by itself sounds quite repetitious if you ask me. At the risk of getting lynched, I do think techno is a helluva lot better than rock and rap, so sue me. Who really gives a damn about what other people are listening to anyway? Anyone reading this is thinking, "Hey, I do," then I'm really sorry but you need to get a life. Given the lack of time right now, and my uncompleted work flying around me, I will refrain from commenting further. Suffice to say that this was totally irrelevant, if you come to think of it. I swear I grow just that little bit more unstable everyday...
