Yi Bin gave me five tickets to tomorrow's National Day Preview, which I can't attend because I'm conducting school tours tomorrow for the Raffles Programme Open House. Not that I really mind, I'm not exactly the most patriotic teenager in Singapore. For the record, I intend to migrate as soon as possible, unless the government is kind enough to relax citizenship laws and allow us to hold dual citizenship. Anyway, I seriously think that after this SYF Gold, the choir will become too complacent. Incidentally, there is more to choir than four years of playing soccer. How about one year of singing badly? Whether it's hypocrisy or not, I'm not qualified to judge, we're all prejudiced by nature anyway. I just think some people need a reality check, that's all. Thankfully, not all was lost this past year. To quote a friend, "Things could have been worse." Make of that what you will, for men may construe things after their fashion, clean from the purposes of the things themselves...
