Ice Cream Soda Day/Sky Day/Tech Support Appreciation Day/Meteor Day
2003-06-30 @ 11:15 p.m.

The first day back at school wasn't as bad as I expected. I didn't get into trouble with any teacher for not doing my work, which is good in a way. Even my mindmaps weren't totally rejected by Mrs Smith, which came as a surprise! I can't figure out my relative velocity questions though. I've forgot how to draw the diagram! Oh well, at the worst I'll have to buy sweets for the class. Yes, my form teacher comes up with the strangest punishments.

Today I had to return all my library books. I gave up on Atonement, because it got boring after the first part, when the setting shifted to the war. I borrowed a new book from the library, literally. It's a collection of short stories by Anton Chekov. I quite like it so far, the stories are simple and easy to understand, without the themes which only complicate matters and distract from the stories themselves. Chekov is brilliant!
