The retreat with my church friends was so fun! Last night at dinner, we were like fooling around with the camera. We did this family portrait pose, like those ancient black-and-white photographs, and it was hilarious. We couldn't laugh while we were taking the photograph, but everyone just burst out laughing the moment the camera flashed. Then we were experimenting with photographs taken through drinking glasses. I've discovered plain tea is actually very drinkable upon the addition of three teaspoons of sugar! Then I made it home from Changi Conference Centre in record time, before hurrying back to church. I forgot to bring my Chinese dictionary and textbook, so I couldn't do my work there and I ended up attending service for the first time in like a month or something. The sermon wasn't too bad, but I thought the speaker was shouting for no particular reason, but he's supposed to be good so I shan't comment further.
