Turtle Day/Declaration Of The Bab/Young At Heart Festival (Illinois)/Spring Fling (Maryland)

After listening to Oracle... over and over again for weeks, I decided to explore symphonic electronica further. Lo and behold, I've discovered Toccata Et Fuga In D Minor (J.S. Bach) by Galbatron. It's the same genre as Oracle..., but with a different feel I guess? After all, Oracle... is in a major key. I think I could get hooked on symphonic electronica. Broadband connections and MP3s rule! I shall now go and download Isotropy, another artist that sounds promising. I think my taste in music is evolving in very peculiar directions. It used to be totally bubblegum pop, like boybands and girlbands. Then it moved slightly towards pop rock, like The Corrs. Next was New Age, strictly Enya. I bought all her albums! I travelled to Germany just to buy it, although getting the imported one locally might have been cheaper. Then there was bond and The Planets, with their unique brand of classical pop. Of course, most people my age probably think my taste in music is terribly lousy, but who cares? To each his own, as I once said before.

Today's English oral examination went quite well. I believe my reading was quite good, but my picture description was boring and too vague. The conversation went quite well, I think. At least I made the teacher smile, which should be good I hope. Oh well, just so long as I fare better in my orals than I did in my Higher Chinese Common Test! I got 61.8%, which I'm relatively happy about, but it's still too low. I must get an A1! I think I really should go and study, instead of reading Atonement...
