Vesak Day (Malaysia)/Vesak Day (Singapore)/Austrian-American Day (Connecticut)/International Day Of Families
2003-05-15 @ 9:43 p.m.

I have a cold, and it's driving me mad because my nose is itching. I refuse to go and do my remedial work! I hate sketching trigonometric graphs. God bless the person who invented the graphic calculator, and a curse upon the one who didn't allow it to be used in Singapore school examinations! Unfortunately, there doesn't seem to be any other means of employing my time productively, unless you count studying dead languages, watching television, sneezing, stoning in front of the computer, etc.

Shen Ting didn't get stuck underground in the North-East MRT line, much to Allan's, Zheng Yang's and my disappointment. That said, I do agree that the lack of artwork at Potong Pasir station is a clear indication of a bias against opposition constituencies. I mean, the station wasn't even originally names Potong Pasir. The Singapore government is very lousy at covering up such blatant displays of anti-opposition party sentiment. I think the PAP secretly dream of the day when they can control all the constituencies, like when they first had elections...
