Stars & Stripes Forever/Independence Day Of Paraguay/Motorcycle Riders Day
2003-05-14 @ 9:18 p.m.

Today was an extremely meaningless day, spent mainly in doing homework which should have been done, doing the NAPFA test, and looking over Yi-Xun's shoulder at his Chemistry practical observations. I know, it's not good to look at other people's work, very dishonest, but still, I didn't feel like working very hard. Maybe the gas evolved was messing up my brain. Sigh, what's the use of completing the five stations for NAPFA when I'll have to redo them anyway, because I failed my 2.4-km run? I chalked up 1 A, 2 Bs, 1 E and 2 Fs. Not that I ever expected to pass, but I still think it's a waste of time. Poor me, having to do all that with a sore throat. Yeah whatever...

Anyway, I've decided not to go and watch a movie tomorrow. I think instead of watching X-2, I'll go and watch The Matrix: Reloaded, and revel in my new-found right to legally watch NC-16 movies. That was lame, but I simply hard to type it. Currently feeling philosophical, after reading and ruminating over Italo Calvino's Invisible Cities, which is a brilliant piece of writing! If you ever come across it, pick it up and read it. Not everything made sense to me, but it's beautifully written. Now on to the Latin guidebook...
