If you're reading this entry right now, I want you to observe one minute of silence before reading further, in remembrance of all those people who died in the Holocaust, and more importantly, all those who survived and lived to tell the tale of the horrors they witnessed and experienced. Pray that such a thing will never happen again. Thank you for your time. Today was not so bad, considering my stupid Chemistry practical, which I scored full marks for anyway because I copied my observations from three different people. French though, was much more fun than usual. Firstly, I finished all my work, so I get to enjoy the sadistic pleasure of laughing at everyone who didn't. Secondly, our teacher was talking about trains in France, and how they get stopped by cows walking across the tracks and getting run down, a relatively common occurence she assured us. It was hilarious! For half a minute, everyone was laughing uncontrollably at the irony of it, because we just observed that the TGV was supposed to be very fast! It just hit me that I haven't been playing any CD other than Seeing Double. I can't help it, the songs are so nice! Like Gangsta Love, "Day after day my MC, putting the rest to shame, cos he'll be giving it gangsta, giving it gangsta love." The song has such a nice backing rhythm, and the lyrics are somewhat suggestive, something I noticed is quite common in this album. Oh well, they had to shed their innocent image sometime! Also, they say imitation is the highest form of flattery, at least I think they say that. So go to Teck Tee's poem and then go and read mine, On The Other End Of The Line. Hopefully it makes sense to you? |
