School hasn't been too bad so far. We did rearrange our seats quite a few times today. It was hilarious! We did it once in the morning. Then at the last lesson, we did it again and changed the arrangement of the tables too. If you ask me, it's actually quite weird looking right now, but I'm not complaining. At least I didn't end up sitting next to Chester, no offense intended.

I've given up on Maupassant's Contes du jour et de la nuit. I've settled instead for a shorter book, Exercices de style, by Raymond Queneau. It's basically the same very short story, rewritten over and over again in different ways making use of different writing techniques. It looked simply enough, but come to think of it, I only understood the story after reading a quarter of the book! Oh well, one can't always hope to excel at everything you know...
